What’s Happening to My Body*
For some reason my deodorant has stopped working — but only on my right armpit. Works fine on the left. How did this happen? And when did I start smelling so bad anyhow? I’m too old to be developing schizophrenia. So I’m guessing it’s probably cancer.
*Book for mid-30s women with diminished life skills. Did anyone else get the book as an adolescent? I don’t remember it being particularly explicit. (Though I *had* already read Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask — so perhaps I was a bit jaded.) But apparently, it’s way more risque than I remember, because according to this Amazon customer: I was shocked when I read this book. I would sell it and get some of my money back, but I blacked out the dirty words. I don’t think my daughter needs to hear the dirty words for penis and vagina. And some of the subjects discussed I found really offensive. I can’t believe this would be a book that was suggested by her school. I was disgusted by it.
She had to black out the dirty words for wiener and hoo-ha, people!
